After receiving your booking we will provide you with all the necessary details to arrive here, including the contacts of several taxi boats who know where we are located. We're only 10 minutes by boat from the main island.
We recommend you bring: a headlight, bug repellent, and hiking shoes. Some of the trails can get muddy during rainy days, hiking shoes or boots are ideal if you want to walk on the trails and around the farm.
Most tour operators and taxi boats will pick you up directly from our dock. Once you arrive we can help you arrange transportation and any tours or activities you wish to do. Most tours and activities are weather dependent and it is best to book once you arrive.
We are located about 10 minutes away by boat from Isla Colon where the main town is.
There are no stores, bars, or restaurants on this side of the island. There is a convenience store and a few bars and restaurants at Red Frog Beach and Marina, located across the bay from us, and just 2-3 minutes by boat.
We offer family meals to our guests, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We have a varied diet which includes meats, vegetables, and fruits.
We try to make all meals from scratch using the best and most natural ingredients available. We try to avoid processed foods and seed oils. When possible we use what we can grow and harvest at our farm, otherwise, we try to buy our meats and produce from other non-industrial farms.
We also offer natural fruit smoothies, cocktails, beers, and wines.
A truly great stay in an amazing location with even more amazing hosts. It was a pleasure being Emi & Lau’s guests. We enjoyed kayaking through the islands, a jungle tour, birdwatching with their cute kids and of course the excellent freshly cooked food. If you are looking for a true Panamá experience, with a cool family you don’t want to miss this one! "
Very warm and welcoming family, which made the stay unforgettable!
Absolute gem, amazing hide away place in the jungle, with the sweetest people. Laura, Mia, Luka & Emiliano made us feel at home. Their farm is beautiful place with great energy, sweet animals, plenty of amazing edible/medicinal plants and absolutely amazing cabin to stay at. The cabin, toilet and bathroom have unforgettable jungle view. Laura is a master chef, you can taste the love she prepares her food with. Never in my life had l better fruit bowl with oats and fantastic fresh herbal tea. We got a royal treatment together with many tips and recommendations on how and where to onto our next adventure. We loved every bit of our stay! Their farm in unforgettable place, a paradise on Earth!
Emy and Lau were wonderful hosts! Their home is very peaceful, immersed in nature and very cozy. Their family and dogs are very welcoming as well. We enjoyed taking the kayak out and exploring the areas nearby. Staying here will inspire you!
Very nice place to relax in the Jungle, loved the jungle sound at night. And enjoyed the delicious Meals. So a perfect place to calm down
If only these two days in Soul Fire Farm should be the reason to visit Panama - it is absolutely worth it! Emi and Lau have built a haven on Earth. Lau is a kitchen magician and her dinners (where everything is picked from her garden) should be awarded by Michelin star. They are great companions, we had such enriching conversations and lots of laugh. The shower with the jungle view was highlight of our trip. Beds are comfortable, everything is tidy and superclean. Go, you will love it!

Emy & Lau’s jungle house is the perfect Panamean experience : the house is lost in a wild jungle covered island, their warm welcome makes you feel you are part of the family, while Lau is cooking excellent healthy-personalized menus, and Emy have very interesting talks ! Such unforgettable memories !
Emi and Lau were phenomenal hosts. Welcoming from the first minute, ready to do all they could to make sure we were comfortable and had the information we needed. They truly demonstrated care for us as soon as we arrived. Their place, perched atop a small hill in the middle of the jungle on island of Solarte is very quaint. From their outdoor kitchen, to the dining area, aquaponics setup next door and their farm animals in earshot, this is a uniquely beautiful experience. Also, Lau is a phenomenal cook - make sure to spend dinner with their family enjoying her delightful homecook-ed meal with everything locally sourced (not to mention, most of it locally grown on their property!).
Amazing place in the middle of nature. Lau and Emy did everything for us having a good stay. Thank you for everything! :)
